Requirements
- Any Muslim aged 18 or older can become an ICN member. A single membership form can include both you and your spouse.
- Membership runs for one calendar year, from January 1 to December 31, and must be renewed each year by paying the membership fee or donating an equivalent amount. For example, a payment made by December 31, 2025 makes you a member for calendar year 2026.
- Once you have submitted a membership form, online or on paper, you do not need to submit a new form each year to renew.
Yearly membership fee
Under the current policy approved by the Board of Trustees (effective January 1, 2019), the yearly fee is:

That is only $10 per month per person.
If your donations during a calendar year add up to more than the membership fee, they count toward your membership fee.

Why become a member?
- Your voice is heard. Membership is the easiest way to make your views count.
- You can vote and stand for office. Current members vote in ICN elections, and members of more than one year can run for the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee.
- It is tax-deductible. You can deduct your donations when you file your taxes.
- It is a legal matter. An accurate, recorded membership is essential for a nonprofit organization.
- It is a financial matter. Membership fees support the operations of ICN.
- It has practical benefits. Members receive priority and discounts for ticketed ICN events and programs.
- It earns reward (ajr). The greatest benefit of membership is what you give: as a sustaining member you support the whole community. Members are the ansar of the organization.
